How to Add Clothes to Your Digital Wardrobe

Add outfit photos, review detected garments, and save useful pieces to your Outfits digital wardrobe.

  1. Choose Add

From the main outfit screen, tap the black plus button. An active subscription is required for additional photo imports after the first-photo experience.

  2. Select clear photos

Choose photos where the clothes you want are visible. Avoid covered garments when possible; a jacket can hide details of the shirt underneath.

  3. Wait for garment detection

Selected photos enter the processing queue. You can keep using the wardrobe while processing continues in the foreground.

  4. Review every piece

Open each Review item. Check its image, name, category, and any visibility warning. Swipe right or tap Save to keep it; swipe left or tap Delete to discard it.

  5. Improve a difficult item

Use Add a better photo or Edit cutout when the suggested image needs correction. A visibility warning may require a clearer photo before the garment can be used in an outfit.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a garment locked?

A lock means the photo did not show enough reliable detail, the item may be covered, or the crop was too small. Add a clearer photo and regenerate it.

Can I close the app while photos process?

Queued work is saved, but iOS controls background time. Remaining items may wait until the app is opened again.
